I’ve always been captivated by film—the way stories unfold through visuals, emotion, fashion, and perspective. From camera angles to costume design, both film and fashion have played a major role in shaping my creative journey.
Today, Black stories are too often overlooked or told without the intention to uplift, inspire, or celebrate Black love and culture. What began as a vision in my sleep has grown into a powerful movement—one that creates space for peers, emerging talent, and even those who didn’t know they needed a creative outlet.

PowerKey Production is more than a fashion show. It’s a production designed to tell our stories—drawing inspiration from iconic films, blending fashion across genres, and giving us the freedom to show up creatively and unapologetically.

Our story is unique. It can't be copied, and it won't be silenced.

Creative Director
I hold a profound appreciation for both fashion and film, as they serve as influential mediums for self-expression and narrative. Fashion enables the communication of creativity, personality, and emotion through style, while film has the unique ability to bring stories to life, fostering connections among individuals from diverse experiences and cultures. Together, they encourage a celebration of individuality and highlight the importance of art as a means to convey ideas, evoke emotions, and create a lasting impact on society.

I think fashion and film are one in the same, because fashion helps create the story behind the film. They both work together to show emotion, identity, and transformation. One movie that really showed me that is The Devil Wears Prada. In the film, she started off wearing things people wouldn’t typically call “fashion,” but it proved that fashion isn’t determined by the world — it’s defined by you as a person. Both fashion and film tell a story about the individual or the director; they’re just different ways to express feeling, emotion, and creativity.

Fashion and film is like a hand in glove to me. They go together. It speaks to me like poetry and I've always been so fascinated by the creativity of what like minded people can put together for it. It's the one place I feel free to create with no bounds. It's the one way I can speak to people in so many ways. They both bring people together. It can be inspiring. Fashion and Film, it's my lifestyle quite literally.
